The unlocked cellphone was released with a Java-oriented operating system.The memory of the Sony s700ican be expanded up to 128 MB via the use of memory stick duo for storing media, such as music, video etc. The unlocked cellphone has an internal storage of 32 MB for storing data, and it can store 30 dialed, received, and missed calls. The phone supports a phonebook along with call records. The phone is operated by a Li-ion battery for prolonged battery life, offering a standby time up to 300 hours. The device does not contain a 3.5 mm headphone jack to plug in headphones.
